An outdated two bedroom, two bath Co-op in need of cosmetic renovations and aesthetic improvements to the bathrooms and kitchen. Each room lacked natural light, so we focused our design on lightening all spaces. The bathrooms were re-tiled and new fixtures were installed. Custom panels were created to enhance the bathtub surround. We opted for a light grey marble color scheme, complimented by chrome finishings and modern lighting. The original kitchen had dark cabinetry, as well, so we installed a gray quartzite countertop, which contrasted beautifully with new white cabinetry and beveled edge subway tiles that reflects and encourages light to move throughout the space. Elegant mirrored cabinets had a similar effect. We relocated the refrigerator to an existing pantry, which enabled a built-in appearance while also serving to enlarge the space. Gone are the days of having a refrigerator protrude 6″ into the kitchen!
